“We love our Peggy.

Our daughter woke up one day, at six years old, and decided she wanted to learn the violin. We are so grateful we found Peggy — her kindness and patience with children are truly special.

Sometimes I’m not sure if my daughter is more in love with the violin or with the quality time she spends with Peggy — but either way, it has led to a genuine love for music. We deeply appreciate the way Peggy teaches, not just the instrument, but the joy and meaning of music in life.”

“A couple of months ago I decided to change violin teachers. I was disappointed at my progress. As a beginner, I wasn't sure what my next steps should be. I started to work with Peggy and from the very beginning I felt hopeful. Her methodical goal setting caught my attention to really focus on measurable improvement. Second, always having a lesson plan ready. After working with her I now realize how vital it is to work with the right teacher. I am so thankful I found the right one for myself. Now, we are working on an orchestra audition! I highly recommend Peggy.”

“When I was about 5 years old my cousin had a toy violin that I used to steal all the time. He used to live near me in Connecticut, but he moved to Saint Croix, so I didn't get to see him much and he took his violin with him. I begged my mom to get me a violin; this went on for about two years. Eventually, my mom found a program for me to take violin lessons online, that's when I was introduced to Ms.Peggy. She is so kind and patient. She always asks what type of music I’m interested in learning to play. My two favorite songs that I’ve learned so far are “Chandelier” by Sia, and “Bar Song” by Shaboozey.  I even played “Bar Song” for my school’s talent show last year. Currently, I’m learning vibrato, so that my songs can sound more emotional and expressive. Thank you so much Ms.Peggy; I really enjoy my lessons with you!”

“I highly recommend Peggy if you are looking for someone to teach your child or for yourself. My sister-in-law has been learning to play the violin with Peggy for a couple years. She recommended her to us to teach our 11-year-old son to play the piano. Our son has done so well with her she is so very patient with him and she also is very creative in finding ways to teach him since he learns a little differently than other children. I highly recommend Peggy.”
